LAB E-NEWS HOW-TO

We strive to make E-News timely, concise, and relevant to our readers—current Lab parents. You will help us achieve that goal by following these guidelines when submitting stories for consideration.

Story Content

Stories should be about 50 words and use little/no formatting and must be submitted using this online form. Your goal should be to submit the copy as final as possible.

The Laboratory Schools reserve the right to make final editorial and content decisions and/or edit for content and length.

Story Format/Length

Use little/no formatting. Here are tips on length and how to use links if needed:

Your header should be descriptive, summarizing what the entry is about to help guide readers. Your entry, including header, should be about 50 worlds. This sample is about fifty words in length. It's just long enough to get across a single thought/story.

If your story links to another web address, cut and paste the complete URL onto your submission form in the space provided. Make sure it works before you submit.

Calendar

E-news staff will automatically list any items on the All-Schools calendar for the upcoming 14 days (excluding athletic contests). Please make sure the All-Schools calendar is up to date.
