Class of 1958 Reunion Information
On-line registration has closed, but there is still time to make a reservation for alumni weekend 2008. Please call Kerry Tulson at 773/702-3789 to register by phone. Dear Classmates, It really has been more than 50 wonderful years since we graduated from U-High, and so time to celebrate this important milestone occasion. To mark our 50th anniversary, we’re working on plans for Reunion Weekend, June 6-7 2008. The fun begins on Friday, June 6th with an all-alumni dinner at Kovler gym on the Lab Schools campus. This event is open to all alumni and will feature the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award, as well as tours of those places in Lab that hold so many memories for all of us. On Saturday, June 7th, Lab is sponsoring a Jazz Brunch in Scammons Garden, featuring our own U-High jazz band and special guest alumni performers. Our class photo will be taken at this event, so make sure you’re there! Saturday evening is our own class dinner, which will be held at the home of Nick Sommers. The Reunion Committee is underwriting the costs of this event and it will be a lovely way to gather in Nick’s fabulous home and reminisce, get reacquainted and share stories of the past years. Please be sure to bring your spouse or significant others to any and all the events. Please check out the new Lab reunion website for on-line registration for all events. Although every event is optional, you’ll need to pay in advance. Our Memory Book materials are also on-line, so please update us on what you’ve been up to since our last Reunion or these past 60 years, but for those of us who aren’t so computer suave, Memory Book materials can be submitted by mail. We all know that a fun and meaningful reunion is all about who participates, so we encourage you to register early, and use our online tool to see who is coming. If you are in touch with someone you can encourage to attend, or know how to reach someone on the missing classmates list, please contact them. For air, hotel, car or other travel arrangements, please check out the link on the website. The University of Chicago’s reunion weekend happens the same time as our reunion, and the university has made special arrangements for reunion weekend attendees. Lastly, the Lab Schools depend on our support to continue the creative atmosphere, which has served us so well, so please make a gift today. Our class donations help Lab maintain academic programs, attract top tier faculty, and stay the forward thinking institution that we know and love. The new website even has an area where you can make a gift on-line. Also, if we don’t have a good email or contact information for you, please let us know. Take a moment to update this information on the web site, or with one of us! See you in June! We can’t wait to see you!

Entry deadline: Friday, May 23, 2008 Class GiftMost of us remember our experience at Lab and/or U-High as the most formative of our lives. To mark this important milestone, we are planning a class gift to the Laboratory Schools. How much to give? It's impossible to put a value on the lifetime of learning and friendships that our U-High years gave us. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and appreciated, and donors of $1000 or more will be recognized as members of the DePencier Society, Lab’s donor recognition society for Alumni. You may also choose to make your gift in memory or honor of a former classmate or teacher. Missing Classmates
