Many alumni remember their Lab and U-High experiences as the most formative of their lives. To recognize and acknowledge this lifelong bond, please consider a gift to the Laboratory Schools.

The University of Chicago is making some major investments in Lab, but a new level of alumni support is also needed if students 20 years from now are to enjoy the same top-notch academic experience we did. You can help by supporting: The Community of Givers Annual Fund, which will help build the resources needed to hire top teachers, increase financial aid, and improve facilities at Lab. Through Lab’s new Alumni Class Scholarship Initiative, you can invest in a permanent endowment which provides support for talented and highly motivated students who would not otherwise be able to afford a Lab education. Or join us for Connections, an evening of friendship, dinner, and dancing that also supports our school.

How much to give? Alumni Annual Fund Chair Dan Kirshner, ’90, advises, “It is impossible to put a value on the lifetime of learning and friendships that our U-High years gave us. I encourage you to think about what Lab meant to you and make a gift commensurate with the role Lab has played in your life. Alumni who give $1,000 or more will become members of the DePencier Society, a recognition society exclusively for Lab alumni. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and appreciated—and best of all, make a difference at Lab.”
