Financial Aid

Financial aid is available each year to assist with tuition. The amounts of money granted vary from year to year, depending upon the funds available and the number of applicants.

A Financial Aid Committee, consisting of the Associate Director of the Schools, the Principals, and the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, is responsible for allocating these funds. Awards are made on the basis of demonstrated financial need and on indications that the applicant has both the academic and personal potential to contribute constructively to life at the Laboratory Schools. Most awards are for partial tuition and for students who are or will be enrolled for the full academic year.

Awards are not automatically renewable. Each year the Financial Aid Committee asks the parents of students receiving financial aid to submit a new Parents Financial Statement if they wish to be considered for the award for the coming year. The committee then recalculates what the family should pay according to the new financial data presented, along with any changes in the above stated criteria.

Please visit the FACTS web site for more information and to create an account to begin the online financial aid application process.

Contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions.
